Where our prices come from

Transparent math, not a sales pitch

Wrap ranges start from typical installed rates around Charlotte of about $11 to $16 per square foot of film. We multiply that by how much film your vehicle size needs, then adjust for the finish:

FinishPrice vs gloss
Glossbase price
Satin+5%
Matte+10%
Color-shift+35%
Chrome+80%

Tint, chrome delete and PPF use typical local price ranges. Fleet budgets use per-vehicle rates by vehicle type and coverage, with volume discounts at 5, 10 and 25 vehicles. We adjust all of these as we learn the market.

Fair to everyone

How we stay independent

  • Free for car owners and businesses, always
  • Shops pay for introductions, not for rankings
  • No cut of your job, so quotes are the shop's own price
  • No more than 3 shops ever get your number

Questions

Good to know

Is CLT Auto Wraps a wrap shop?

No. We are an independent price and quote site. We don’t do the work ourselves, so we have no reason to push one shop or one option over another.

How do you make money if it’s free for me?

Shops pay a monthly plan or a per-request fee to see requests and contact customers. We don’t take a cut of your job, so the price a shop quotes is their own.

Where do your prices come from?

From typical installed rates in the Charlotte area, the amount of film your vehicle size needs, and the cost difference between finishes. They are estimates to help you judge quotes, not quotes themselves.

Who sees my name and number?

Only shops that choose to contact you about your request, and never more than 3. Shops see your vehicle, service, area and timeline first, without your contact details.

What if a quote is far from your range?

It can still be fair: paint repair, complex bodywork or premium film all raise the price. Ask the shop what is included and why.
